Readynet router setup- Wireless AC router

Step 1: To do the Readynet router setup for the first time, first connect the Readynet router to the desktop computer or Laptop computer, whichever is your desired one. Connect the one end of Readynet router to the broadband internet device and another end to the computer or Laptop and plug on the power for both’ the Readynet router and computer.

Note: The broadband internet access usually is from the cable modem, DSL modem, or similar device. Turn on the power switch on the back of the router.

Step 2: In the second step of Readynet router setup, when in the first step you had completed the mentioned hardware connections, follow the safety precautions as mentioned below:

  • The Readynet router must be in horizontal surface  or you could also place it against the wall
  • Always keep the Readynet router and other connected devices away from heat sources
  •  Wherever the Readynet router is placed, please keep the area ventilated
  • Also keep the router away from damp areas or water
  • In case there is a thunderstorm, plug out all devicesReadynet router setup
  • To power supply, only use the AC adaptor came with your Readynet router
  • Keep router at least 20 cm away from people to reduce exposure to radio frequency emissions

Step 3: Now we move further do Readynet router setup and will log in to the user interface. Open your web browser as per your choice and type the URL “” in the address bar of the web browser. After entering the URL into the web browser address, press enters to submit the option. Now a ‘username’ and ‘password’ window will open and asking you to login to that. Here, if it is the first time you are setting up the Readynet router, then default login credentials need to be entered. So please enter the default username which is user. The password is located at the bottom of the router, please refer that and enter accordingly.

Note: The default wireless IP address for the wireless router is1 and the default Subnet Mask is

Step 4: After entering the default username and password, move more fourth to set up your Readynet router’s Wireless SSID and Passphrase.

Step 2: In order to access the wireless settings, select wireless 2.4GHz’ and then ‘Basic’. In most of the case, the pre-done settings on the Readynet router o this page will be appropriate. You want to change the SSID and frequency fields. After setting this, click apply and save.

Step 3: Now to the Readynet router setup, select ‘Wireless 5GHz’ to configure the 5GHz band. Here the screen and selections will be the same as we mentioned above in step 2 for the wireless 2.4GHz. Previously you entered the default password located on the back of the Readynet router. Please change that to prevent any unauthorized access to the network.

Step 4: If you are finished making changes, click ‘Reboot’ at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.

Step 5: Now to do the Readynet router setup, please change the preconfigured wireless security setup. Your router is pre setup from the factory, so you might want to change those default settings. As you know that the default password is printer on the bottom of the router, so to change it; select Wireless 2.4GHz’, then ‘Wireless Security’. Make sure that whatever password you want to choose, must have at least 8 characters. After entering the password, click save, Also change the password for GHz band.  For that click on the click ‘Wireless 5GHz’ and ‘Wireless Security’ to change it. Once your new Pass Phrase has been entered, click ‘Save’, then click ‘Reboot’ to apply your changes

In the bottom of the opened page, you will find the option Reboot, so after doing these changes, click on the option Reboot to save the done settings.

Step 6: Now as the network has been established, so its time to set the devices such as Desktop, laptop, iPad, smart-phone, etc. to work with Readynet router. Each of these devices must have an internal or external wireless adapter and applicable drivers. User guides for each of these devices should have instructions for wireless set up.

You will need the SSID and password you assigned to this wireless router during router set up. For each wireless device, access the setup menu, choose the appropriate SSID from the list of wireless net – works, enter your password, and test the wireless connection

Readynet Login instructions

Here we will mention the Readynet login instructions, in detail, step by step for Readynet router setup:

i) Readynet router IP address: Before login, you need to understsand the IP address for the Readynet router. Readynet IP address is Now that you have the IP address for the Readynet router, you are ready to login into that.

ii) The Readynet router use web interface for user login and setup. You can use any web browser you like. Enter the internal IP address in the Address Bar of your web browser. Now press enter from your keyboard. After it, you will see a pop up eindow will appear, asking you to enter username and password. iii) You will see a home screen for the Readynet router. You are now logged in to your ReadyNet.

Readynet login troubleshooting

If after following the above mentioned steps, you are unable to login, then you can follow below mentioned troubleshooting steps:

  • Readynet password not working:  You can try other Readynet passwords or can try to reset the router
  • Forgot password for Readynet router: If your Internet Service Provider supplied you with your router then you might want to try giving them a call and see if they either know what your router’s username and password are, or maybe they can reset it for you.
  • Username-Password combination doesn’t work: If you still can not get logged in then you are probably going to have to reset your router to its default settings.There is a difference between resetting a router and rebooting a router. When you reboot your router that means you cycle the power to it. Resetting your router involves changing it back to its factory settings.

    Perhaps you have forgotten the password to your router and now you want to reset the password. First you need to reset the router back to its factory settings then you can use the default password to access your router.

  • To reboot the Readynet router
  • Unplug the power connector from the back of the router and plug it back in. After 30 seconds the router will reboot. In the process of rebooting the internet connection will drop.
  •  Reset the Readynet router


  • It involves the change of setting to default factory settings. The default factory settings will be changed for Router’s username and password, Wi-f- user name and password, ISP Username and password, change of portforwards, Firewall settings and any other configurations changes you had made before.

To reset the router try to locate the tiny small button, usually on the back of the router. As the router is on, use a pin or paper clip with sharp point to press and hold the button for 10 seconds. Now you will wait for the light indicators changing which may depend upon he make and model of your router the lights may start out blinking and change to solid or they may start out solid and change to blinking. When you let go of the reset button the router should be reset to the factory settings.

Changing the IP address of Readynet router

Readynet router has two IP address: One is Internal and other is external. The External IP address is given to you by your Internet service provider which you cannot change and inter IP address is default address, which you can change. It is always advised to make the last number of IP address is ‘1’

Login to Readynet Router, open the LAN page to login to our router. To change the IP address, on home page which comes after login to the router; under the option of LAN configuration there is IP address mentioned. If you see on the top of the page, see the setup tab, from there click Local Network in the left hand sidebar.

After it you will be directed towards the next page. Under the option of DHCP server settings DNS server option is there. Select and change the IP address as if you wanted.
